Over the course of a 19-year career dedicated to the sports and stadium industry, Samin Macdonald has developed comprehensive and unparalleled know-how across global stadium operations and commercialisation.

With expertise in feasibility, business planning, project management, revenue generation, CRM, operations, and customer experience, he conceives and delivers strategic commercial and operational plans for venues.

Samin Macdonald is the Professor of Stadium Business Operations at the Football Business Academy. Having worked on over 40 stadium projects worldwide, including Wembley, Camp Nou, Tottenham Hotspur and Santiago Bernabéu, alongside venue owners, clubs, governing bodies, agencies and industry suppliers, his unique experience provides students with wide-ranging insights across all aspects of the stadium industry.

Samin joined ISG in 2008 and was responsible for the set-up of ISG hospitality sales projects in Ireland, Turkey, Sweden and Spain which included developing sales, legal and financial processes along with the implementation of project-based IT and CRM systems.

Prior to this Samin worked for IMG, where he was responsible for the UEFA Euro 2008™ Hospitality Sales and CRM Programme, having spent four years are part of the IMG team responsible for CRM and Sales of Club Wembley at Wembley Stadium.

Based in Munich, Samin is fluent in German, proficient in French, a PRINCE2 registered Project Management Practitioner and a certified Event & Venue Management Institute (EVMI)Venue Manager.
